I collect only what I actually need, and I sell it to nobody. Here is exactly what, why, and for how long.

Who processes your data

The controller is Júlia Aguado, Sauberg 22, 900 21 Svätý Jur. Contact: julia@juliaaguado.com.

What registration collects

Your name, email, the courses you chose, and the time you consented. A phone number only if you give one — it is optional. Nothing else is needed.

At the door you sign two things on paper: a declaration about your health and taking part at your own risk, and a separate consent to photography, which is voluntary and not a condition of taking part. I keep both for three years after the workshop, like the registration data.

Why

So that I can register you, send you payment details, and write before the workshop about what to bring. The legal basis is performance of the contract between us.

Newsletter

If you tick the box for the newsletter about future courses and events, I keep your email and name for that. The legal basis is your consent. One click in any email unsubscribes you and withdraws it.

Waiting list

If a course is full and you leave me your name and email, I keep them only to tell you when a spot opens up. The legal basis is your request before entering into a contract. I delete them after the workshop, or sooner if you write to me.

How long I keep it

Registration data for three years after the workshop, for accounting and any complaints. A newsletter email until you unsubscribe.

Who else sees it

Nobody who is not named here. Email is sent through Mailgun (Sinch Email, EU servers). The site and database run on a Hetzner Online server in Germany. Payments go through my bank. Each of them processes data under contract and only for this purpose.

Cookies and measurement

I measure visits with Umami, which runs on the same server as the site, not at a third party. It records which page was shown, which site the link came from, the country, the browser and the kind of device. It stores nothing in your browser, does not follow you across other sites, and uses your IP address only to work out the country, without keeping it. There are no advertising pixels. The only thing your browser stores is your choice of language. Joaquín's video loads from YouTube only when you click it — until then YouTube knows nothing about your visit.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, object to it, and withdraw consent. Write to julia@juliaaguado.com and I will answer within a month.

If you are not satisfied

You can complain to the Slovak Data Protection Authority, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava.
